The power of team coaching

Wow, the data doesn’t lie. Over the last few years my group-based work has grown almost exponentially!

When I first set out as a coach my work was primarily with individuals – supporting leaders and mid-career professionals through transitions. Later I added coaching supervision for trainee and peer coaches. I still love doing all of that.

But when I plot my annual group and team based coaching and facilitation hours, I’m taken aback. The trend is clear – and likely to continue in 2026.

Team coaching is a fast-growing field and it’s easy to see why. When it comes to achieving meaningful change, teams have an exponential impact. Perhaps it’s no surprise that my own growth in supporting groups is similarly exponential.

When people come together and form more than the sum of their parts, anything is possible.

Whether your team could do with a reboot or just some TLC, team coaching can work wonders. When you feel seen by others – and they by you – you build trust, improve relationships, and multiply learning.

Having worked with many groups this year, the feedback has been consistent: I help teams slow down, reflect, communicate and collaborate better. I help them find the courage to tackle unspoken issues, without judgment or fear.

And so anything becomes possible.

I’ve literally seen it happen. And I’d love to see more of it in 2026: with YOUR team. What are you waiting for?
