
Happy New Year! In 2026 my growth focus will be on team coaching and development. Only recently I caught up with a geospatial team I coached 6 months ago – the impact has been remarkable:
When I asked what has changed since their two-day workshop last summer, some spoke about a lasting sense of cohesion that hadn’t been there before. Another highlighted the power of receiving positive feedback from the team – to remind himself, he still has the notecard pinned to his desk. Others have taken active listening skills into the business, reporting that they are now engaging more effectively with customers and stakeholders.
And the best bit? The team have felt inspired enough to keep coaching each other ever since, meeting up every Friday to practice – for 6 months and counting! Not only has this sharpened their skills, it has strengthened their relationships and allowed them to get to know each other much better.
They are a real team now.
I feel inspired and excited by this. It shows what is possible. And it’s the kind of impact I want to see more of in 2026 – with your team!
