You know who you are, even if I don’t!
I love working with people and today’s award is a reminder of how strong the geospatial community is.
Paradoxically, the recognition means a lot to me because much of my work as a coach these days takes me beyond and outside the geospatial world.
But only recently someone said that geo people seem to form lifelong bonds almost like family. Indeed, the proof is right here. You can take the boy out of geo, but you can’t take geo out of the boy!
As it happens, today I am in Nottingham for a coaching workshop at EPSRC CDT in Geospatial Systems. Couldn’t have picked a better set of coordinates to see the GEO 100 announcement.
