It’s all about the messy stuff of leading, managing change, and supporting people in a way that is truly authentic and empowering. Universally applicable, at any level, in any sector.

And you won’t see a single slide all week.

All week? Yes, it’s an intense 5 days. In person. A big ask, you might say. Indeed, a senior executive team deliberated about this recently. Eventually they decided to commit their time because it was important to them – and found it so valuable that they are now rolling out the training across their organisation.

So what makes it so unique and effective?

First, it’s unlike any training programme you will have been on. There’s no lectures or presentations. This sounds counterintuitive, but we don’t teach you anything. We just make sure you learn lots — by doing, reflecting, experimenting. It’s completely experiential.

Second, there is no pretence. Experiential learning only works if everything is real. There is no role play, no BS. Everyone brings real issues to work with. Once we have built enough trust, we are ready to work on those issues – as well as issues unfolding in the room. And in doing so we learn an important skill: to empower others to find their own solutions. In other words, we learn how to be ‘client-centred’ (in the meaning of humanistic psychology).

You’ll learn how to build trust, engage with individuals and groups, work with feelings and data, help people make sense of things, use effective coaching and mentoring styles, and lots more. Everybody takes away learning that is uniquely relevant to them.

In the end, you’ll walk away with much more than a toolkit of techniques and models. You’ll walk away with real skills – because you will have done it for real. That is what sets our programme apart. And for many people it’s truly transformative.
