Coaching Training

Coaching and mentoring are important skills in today’s workplace. These skills help you improve relationships, build stronger teams, and make you a better leader.

Developing a coaching culture means that people listen more, ask better questions, collaborate more effectively – and exceed what you thought was possible.

Coaching training delivered as part of a team “impact” workshop with a corporate geomatics team, London 2025.

Coaching is a craft that you can only learn by practicing it for real. My workshops are fully experiential, meaning that you learn by doing – not stare at PowerPoints. Nor will you engage in role play pretending to help someone with a pretend issue. As a group, you will learn how to coach each other using real work issues. As you alternate roles of coach and coachee, this approach maximises learning and hits two birds with one stone: not only will you learn the skills of coaching and mentoring, but you will also make progress on real issues that are important to you.

My training workshops are available in person or online, in a range of formats from 2 hours to 2 days. I also provide short follow-up or refresher workshops to maintain momentum and build positive habits.

“This was a great course and I learned so much. If I’m honest, I learned a lot about myself. I will be carrying these lessons forward.”

Michelle, mentoring workshop participant, Women in Geospatial mentorship program, 2023.

I provide coaching and mentoring training through my private practice, as well as associate partners such as the The Academy of Leadership and Management (ILM Level 7 and 5 certification programmes) and Consulting for Real People (coaching-based leadership programmes).
